Wasn’t it the weakest… Ryu Hyun-jin, shaken by one home run, loses 2nd season

I don’t know baseball. Ryu Hyun-jin (36, Toronto Blue Jays) attempted to achieve his 4th win of the season against the team with the lowest winning percentage in the Major League, but succumbed to a single home run.

Ryu Hyun-jin started the away game against the Major League Baseball Oakland Athletics held at the Oakland Coliseum in the U.S. on the 7th (Korean time) and recorded 5 hits (1 home run), 1 walk, 5 strikeouts, and 2 runs in 5 innings.

Ryu Hyun-jin, who was overwhelming the weak Oakland until the third inning, hit a comeback two-run home run from Carlos Perez in the bottom of the fourth inning when Toronto was ahead 1-0.

On the other hand, Toronto’s batters had a hard time, scoring only 1 run through the 5th inning against Oakland’s new starting pitcher JP Sears, who had 3 wins and 11 losses before today’s game.

Ryu Hyun-jin came off the mound in the bottom of the 5th inning when Toronto was down 1-2. As Toronto lost 2-5 to Oakland, Ryu Hyun-jin suffered his second loss (3 wins) of the season. His season ERA rose slightly to 2.65.

The total number of pitches was 77 (50 strikes). Ryu Hyun-jin has yet to play more than six innings in a game since returning from injury this season.

Ryu Hyun-jin’s start wasn’t bad.

Ryu Hyun-jin ended his first inning with 9 balls to go. The highlight was the match against Oakland’s new slugger, Brent Rooker, who caused a sensation in the early part of the season.

Ryu Hyun-jin, who faced Rooker with 1 out, mixed a curve, change-up, and cut fastball to make 2 balls and 2 strikes, and then boldly threw a 146 km/h fastball into the middle of the field. Rooker, who failed to read the timing, struck out while looking.

Toronto scored first in the top of the second inning thanks to Ernie Clement’s timely hit with one out and two on second base. While the batting line showed strength, Ryu Hyun-jin also continued his good performance.

Ryu Hyun-jin cleanly closed out the bottom of the second inning with one strikeout. Ryu Hyun-jin’s smart management was confirmed in the scene where he struck out Jordan Diaz, who was the leadoff hitter, with a looking strikeout.

Ryu Hyun-jin threw a slow curve at 62.5 miles per hour with 2 balls and 2 strikes, creating a foul hit. Afterwards, Ryu Hyun-jin threw a 145 km/h fastball into the center of the strike zone, and this time, the batter could not catch the timing of the sudden fast ball and just watched.

Ryu Hyun-jin received his first hit in the bottom of the third inning with one out and eighth hitter Nick Allen. He hit Esteuri Lewis, who ranks first in stolen bases in the American League, with a fly to right field, but later allowed Allen to unexpectedly steal second base. This is the first time Ryu Hyun-jin has allowed a stolen base this season.

Ryu Hyun-jin did not waver in the scoring crisis. He struck out Jack Gelloff and put the lights out. In 2-ball-2-strike, the cut fastball was accurately delivered to the outside zone.

However, Ryu Hyun-jin’s momentum was broken by a single home run that exploded like a thunderbolt.

Ryu Hyun-jin was in danger in the bottom of the 4th inning when he was hit by a double to left-center field from leadoff hitter Luker. The defense helped Ryu Hyun-jin. When Ryan Noda hit an infield grounder, first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. caught the lead runner with a bold throw to third base. Ryu Hyun-jin then hit Diaz with a fly ball to right field.

However, Ryu Hyun-jin committed a wild pitch during Perez’s at-bat and even hit a two-run home run. He threw a well-controlled 145 km/h fastball on a low course toward the right-hander’s body, and Perez pulled it hard with a precise strike.

The crisis continued. Ryu Hyun-jin gave up an infield hit to Kevin Smith and a walk to Jonah Bride, putting him in scoring position again. However, he caught Allen with a ground ball to shortstop and turned off the lights.

Ryu Hyun-jin hit a left-field hit from leadoff hitter Lewis in the bottom of the fifth inning. In the battle between Ryu Hyun-jin, who has good steal suppression skills, and ‘The Great Sword’, Lewis won. Lewis succeeded in stealing second base with ease.

Ryu Hyun-jin showed concentration and struck out two batters in a row. Lewis’s feet did not know how to stop. During Noda’s at-bat, he showed off his amazing wit and stole third base. After Ryu Hyun-jin threw the ball, he succeeded in stealing third base when the catcher threw the ball back to the pitcher.

However, Ryu Hyun-jin was not embarrassed and disposed of Noda with an outfield fly, once again overcoming the scoring crisis.바카라사이트

Ryu Hyun-jin’s mission lasted until the 5th inning. Toronto quickly activated the bullpen as the number of moments in which Ryu Hyun-jin was in danger increased from the fourth inning.

However, Toronto’s hopes were dashed when Trevor Richards, who came on in relief of Ryu Hyun-jin, hit a three-run home run from Kevin Smith in the bottom of the sixth inning.
