A 100-meter star is on the rise. Kim Jong-yoon, a high school student from Milyang, Gyeongnam, has emerged as a promising athlete after breaking records at national competitions.
Kim, a senior at Gyeongnam Sports 토토사이트 High School, was born in Milyang in 2005 and graduated from Mirival Elementary School and Milyang Middle School.
Last month, he won first place at the National Sports High School Athletics Competition with a time of 10.54 seconds, first place at the 52nd Spring National Middle and High School Athletics Competition with a time of 10.72 seconds, and first place at the 51st KBS Boat National Athletics Competition.
At the KBS Boat Race, he won with an excellent time of 10.52 seconds in the pouring rain.

With these results, Kim has qualified for the 20th Asian U20 Athletics Championships in Yecheon, Gyeongbuk, in June and will also compete in the Hong Kong Intercity Athletics Championships organized by the Hong Kong Athletics Federation in the same month. The Hong Kong Intercity Athletics Championships will feature athletes from 45 Asian countries.
“My personal goal is to break my personal record without injury in the competition, and I will continue to train under the guidance of my manager and coach to achieve a new Korean record,” Kim said. “I will do my best to perform well in the competitions in Gyeongbuk and Hong Kong in June.”
